Plot[]
After reclaiming Los Vaqueros' base and dealing with Graves and Shadow Company, Price, Gaz, Ghost, and Alejandro return to Valeria's prison container and ask her where Hassan and the third missile is, which she revealed they're at Chicago. Soap and Ghost say their goodbyes to Alejandro and Rodolfo as the former two leave with Price and Gaz while the latter two prepare to escort and imprison Valeria for her crimes.
Later in Chicago, Illinois, Task Force 141 and the MARSOC Marines launched an assault against a building occupied by Al-Qatala as they prepare to stop the third missile and kill Hassan. While Laswell's in her car trying to locate the missile, Gaz infil with the Marines on the Chicago River into the building's ground floor, Ghost provides sniper overwatch across the building, and Price and Soap infil on a chopper to the roof.
After landing, Soap and Price rappel down as the former neutralized AQ soldiers and save the hostages before regrouping with the Captain and heading inside near the server room. The two sweep through the server room to look for Hassan, who has the missile controls. With the server room - as well as the control room - cleared, Soap and Price rappel to the 46th floor; unfortunately, AQ began firing at the two, forcing them to head inside and eliminate the enemies. Once the two reach the 46th floor, the missile was launched as Soap and Price quickly regroups with Gaz and the Marines before reaching to the room where Hassan is cornered in. Soap prepares to use a snake-cam, but the door exploded as Hassan tries to escape with his men. With Price hurt and Gaz tending his injuries, Soap rushed towards the elevator where Hassan fled, took the controls, and hide.
Thanks to Laswell's help, Soap successfully detonated the missile before it could hit the Pentagon in D.C. Ghost then guides Soap as he finds materials he could use to deal with Hassan's men. Soap manages to take care of the two hostiles; however, Hassan manages to overwhelm and knock him out. While he prepares to throw Soap out of the building, Ghost repositions to the window Hassan and Soap are at before landing a headshot on Hassan, ending his threat and saving Soap.
Later, TF-141 meet with Laswell in a Chicago bar as she and Price have a conversation. Although Price wants to find Shepherd, Laswell explains that the Russian PMCs are more important and passes him a photo of someone new they're working with. However, Price tells Laswell that this person isn't new and passes around the photo to his team before revealing a name - Makarov.
Epilogue[]
Meanwhile, passengers are served their food on a plane. However, one passenger, after ordering their salad, begins to assemble a pistol from pieces smuggled aboard before opening the salad to reveal a magazine inside. Once the pistol is prepared, he turns on his phone to text a contact, listed as "M", that he's ready, and the contact replies "No Russian."
