The team heard the breaking news about a Russian passenger jet being destroyed mid-flight and knew Makarov had something to do with it. To prove that the ULF aren't responsible for the deaths and destruction of the flight, Farah and Alex head to the plane's last known location.
After arriving at the crash site, the two spotted Konni soldiers guarding and scavenging the wreckage as Farah heads down to search for evidence while Alex provides overwatch. Farah search around the wreckage before finding and hacking the phones for evidence, but none could prove the ULF's innocence; however, a flight recorder was found inside a building as Farah wipes out the data to prevent Konni from using it. Although the crash site's now clean, Konni spotted Alex and head towards his position. Once the soldiers are dead and Alex is saved, he and Farah enter inside a truck as the two prepare to leave.
