Crossing is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty 3 added as part of the Valor Map Pack on January 27th, 2007.
Overview[]
Crossing is part of a conversion from the campaign mission The Island. It is based on a bridge crossing the river Merderet in Normandy, hence the name. The German have fortification on one side of the river and the allies use a farm house for their base on the other side. This map favors long range encounters.
