The mostly accepted theory is that Tencent planned on making a hero-shooter based on Call of Duty and CS:GO. When Tencent accuired the rights to make a Call of Duty game, the project was dropped and turned into the game we know now. A lot of assets are still in the files, but since this wasn't ment to be in the current game it won't be shown.

Elite Squad.

In October 2018, a trailer of a game called "Elite Squad" was leaked. There are currently only theories about this game. The mostly accepted theory is that Tencent planned on making a hero-shooter based on Call of Duty and CS:GO. When Tencent accuired the rights to make a Call of Duty game, the project was dropped and turned into the game we know now. A lot of assets are still in the files, but since this wasn't ment to be in the current game it won't be shown.

Maps

  • Shipment: In the elite squad trailer the map Shipment can be seen, and a minimap remains in the files.
  • Overgrown: 3 textures where left in the files with the tag MP_overgrown. 
  • Slums: 2 textures where left in the files with the tag MP_slums.
  • Oasis: This map was playable in chinese beta version, and a minimap remains in the files.
  • Monistary: This map was accessible in a test version, but due to a lack of assets wasn't playable.
  • Rebirth: This map was accessible in a test version, but due to a lack of assets wasn't playable.
  • Training Range: A simple range for a tutorial is fully available in the files of older versions.
  • Killhouse Training: A modified version of Killhouse ment for a tutorial is fully available in the files of older versions.
