- "Come for the Sonic Pulse, stay for the Directed Energy beam! Living ammo - deadly outcomes!"
- — In-game description
The DRI-11 Beamsmasher is a wonder weapon featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies in the map Terminus.
Its primary shot consists of a powerful energy flux that constantly strikes the target it hits, while its secondary effect pulses a mesmerizing wave that slows down all zombies hit (including bosses) making them very vulnerable to all types of damage. The weapon also has shockwave that blasts when the current magazine is emptied. The weapon is necessary for the first step of No Mo' Modi.
It can be obtained by doing its own buildable quest, from the Mystery Box or from the Satellite easter egg.
When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it becomes the Supersonic Crusher.
Crafting[]
Tonovsky’s Research Office can be opened via the use of a weapon equipped with the Dead Wire Ammo Mod and by firing said weapon on Electrical Boxes in-sequence up the Inclined Lift when it is rising from the Bio Lab to the section between the Storage Area and Communications. The two remaining Electrical Boxes can be found sequentially in the Living Quarters beside the AMP unit and outside in the Rec Yard, by where the Lab entrance is.
Anna herself is inside holding a fob. Killing her will make her drop it.
A briefcase of Anna’s can be found in the Sea Tower, on the opposing side of the door of the Elemental Pop. Inside is the Multiphasic Resonator. Opening the briefcase will spawn a swarm of Vermin.
The Resonator can be calibrated in the Lab, however it requires the use of three positional co-ordinates and are obfuscated in both code and math. The equation can be found in the left most corner of the Research Office and what symbol equates to what number. There are a total of three laptops set-up to record positions and are marked with what axis the symbol is for.
- X can be found on the Docks, before the staircase leading down to the Armory
- Y can be found in the Storage Area, on the right side from coming out of Interrogation.
- Z can be found outside of the Control Center, in the Communications area, near where the Inclined Lift is.
With these and utilizing the calculations, the correct three co-ordinates can be figured out and input into the calibrator. Interacting with the calibrator will also put a sticky note of the symbols under the dials. However if the calculation cannot be figured out, Peck offers an olive branch. For 5,000 points, he will provide the correct code at the Security Station on a terminal facing the window divider.
With the correct code input, the calibrator will require sometime to correctly calculate the position. This is either time based or can be after a round is completed. The calibrator will point to Temple Island, Castle Rock Island or Crab Island.
The Multiphasic Resonator needs to be picked up and taken to this respective island. On the respective island, a sphere of plasma has formed and interacting with it will place the Multiphasic Resonator under it and start spawning in zombies. Eventually the sphere will shoot out a beam of electricity and imbue it with the power. Killing it will drop a ball of pure electrical energy and interacting with said ball will pick it up. This ball can be taken to the sphere to empower it by interacting with the sphere while holding the ball. This needs to be done twice.
Whilst holding the ball, the person holding it is unable to preform actions with their off-hand, such as operating pump-action weaponry or reloading alongside running. Attempting to force this action will have the ball drop onto the floor, which can be simply picked up again.
If the ball is dropped near enough to the sphere, it will automatically be collected by the sphere and will be counted towards the collected total.
Upon feeding the sphere twice, it will travel in a clockwise direction to the next island and the process needs to be repeated again. The Multiphasic Resonator also needs to be picked up upon completion of a sphere.
On the completion of the third sphere, the energy source for the Beamsmasher is created, called the Amp Munition. This can be taken to the work bench within the Research Office to make the DRI-11 Beamsmasher.
