The De Lisle is effectively a Lee-Enfield with a unique integral suppressor, keeping the player off mini-maps when firing. Damage and attributes are similar to the Lee-Enfield, with low idle sway, good fire rate (for a sniper rifle) and large magazine size. To prevent players from exclusively using the De Lisle over the Lee-Enfield, the De Lisle has a slower ADS time.
As the only sniper rifle with a suppressor, the De Lisle is the only bullet weapon that has a suppressor that can kill in one shot in core. This makes locating a sniper using the De Lisle harder as they will never appear on the mini-map, and coupled with the Mountain Division and a suitable secondary, can be used to create a truly stealthy sniper loadout.
The De Lisle shares many of the Lee-Enfield's traits, but can be seen as superior as the integral suppressor keeps the De Lisle more accurate in sustained fire due to the reduction in muzzle flash. The De Lisle will kill in one shot to about wave 15, with headshots carrying the player into the 20s. The De Lisle strangely does not feature aim assist ('Snap aim') alongside the Lever Action and PTRS-41.
When upgraded through the Ubersprengen, the De Lisle becomes the Subsonic Scream, increasing its damage and ammunition from 10 to 20 rounds.
Alongside being a one shot kill until the 30s (headshots will raise that to waves 35 and up), the Subsonic Scream has an effect not seen on any sniper rifle; when a shot hits any surface that is not a zombie, it will create a 'mine' of sorts, which appears as a very small yellow light that arms after 3 seconds, turning from yellow to orange to red. When armed, this mine will fire off shots that will always headshot up to 5 or more zombies that are in its area. If no zombies are around, it will expire and disappear. After a mine detonates or disappears, a new one can be fired off. This mine does exceptional damage, being able to kill a Wüstling even past waves 30 and will for the most part kill all other zombies bar the Brenner. This mine grants the Subsonic Scream one of the highest damage-to-ammo ratios in the game, being able to kill well over 500 regular zombies without a Taschen Voll, so long as the mine is a one-hit kill.
