"Those who've heard of Alice only know her as the Death Angel. Those unfortunate enough to see her only catch the flash of a haunting mask."
— In-game biography

Alice, also known as Death Angel, is a character featured in Call of Duty: Mobile. Alice appears in the comics.

Background[]

Death Angel Alice is revealed to be a 'Couteau', a member of Templar's family. In Turkey, she takes out a squad of soldiers hunting her, where Edouard reveals to Sophia that Alice is a member of their family; she had cut herself off from the rest of her family, to wage war on the Tontine alone and make them suffer.

As the Couteaus take refuge in the cave in Turkey with a captive Stitch, Alice is left to deal with more Tontine troops, killing them all with ruthless efficiency. After doing so, she meets with a masked Templar, who believes that Alice would not accept if he came unmasked, only for Alice to retort by saying that they're all masked, and that none of them are who they present themselves to be.

She then holds Stitch at knifepoint, demanding to know why Templar is there, and led the Tontine straight to her doorstep. Templar says that he can't let Alice kill Stitch as he did not bring him for her, and that he's going to the 'Chapel of Blades'. Alice doesn't stop with her derision, noting that Templar had turned his back on their struggles and only now wishes to lay claim to the family treasure, and doubts that the Chapel will accept him even if he brings Stitch to them. However, Templar is confident that they will accept, as Stitch is part of the upper echelon of the Tontine and that it will be a prize they won't be able to resist, not while the Tontine is enacting their final plans--and that they need to bring the fight to them.

Alice agrees, and proceeds to cut Stitch's arm open, while asking Sophia if she's prepared to take up the fight. As Sophia responds that she hasn't decided yet, she pulls out a tracking device from Stitch's arm to show Sophia, that the Tontine always marks their property and that they keep track of wherever they go, viewing the world as something to control, under their thumbs.

Even after this, Alice is still doubtful about bringing the Couteaus to the monastery to claim Gideon Couteaux's armor, knowing it would take more than a Tontine prisoner and her word to convince them. Templar notes that during his exile, he had time to think about why Ghost betrayed him; he was content with fading into obscurity, to let the world believe he was dead so the Tontine would forget about him. However, the Tontine never forgot, and five years into his exile, they found him and killed the man who rescued and befriended Templar--and now he knows the identity of a Tontine lord, his name and even his face, which is what he will offer to the Couteau family.

At last, Alice relents, and informs them that if he's lucky, the Gideon armor won't kill Templar.
