Defender: Mt. Zaya is a Mission featured within the Special Ops mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Overview[]
Operators must defend the observatory against 6 waves of Al-Qatala forces. The first three waves start with defending one specific area (Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie). But for the rest of the waves, Al-Qatala will send more dangerous hostiles to both areas at a time with the final wave forcing operators to defend Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Completing each wave and killing enemies earns cash. A permanent UAV is provided to ping where the enemies are.
There's also the shop where the Operators can buy killstreaks, armor, self-revive kits, or get Demon Dogs reinforcements to assist in the fight.

Gun Game: Mt. Zaya[]
Added as part of the Season One update, Gun Game: Mt. Zaya is a modified version that added a Gun Game with a random selection of 10 weapons.
