- For the standard version, see Buy Station.
The Deployable Buy Station, also known as the Portable Buy Station, is a Field Upgrade featured in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. In Warzone, it was added as part of the Season Two Reloaded update of Call of Duty: Vanguard and in Warzone 2.0, it was added as part of the Season Three Reloaded update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Overview[]
Once called, the Deployable Buy Station will have a marker deployed, in which a Buy Station is sent down onto the marker. The Deployed Buy Station will then show up on the Tac Map with its own icon, which may alert enemies to the location of the Buy Station. It also features the same inventory as the normal Buy Station.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0[]
In Season Five of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, a unique variant of the Deployable Buy Station was added to DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, belonging to the boss Scavenger. It will remain in DMZ as long as the Scavenger is still alive, and the player can only interact with it if they have an active disguise, trying to interact with this buy station while not wearing a disguise will prompt the game to say: "Requires active disguise". This deployable buy station has the same look as a regular deployable buy station, but has fewer gears than a regular buy station, but in return, has discounted prices on gears and uses a different batter system that uses operator's dog tag instead of items found in DMZ.
After Season Five Reloaded, another variant of the Deployable Buy Station was added to the DMZ mode, located in the now destroyed Zaya Observatory, this Deployable Buy Station is deactivated by default and will only activate when the radiation gas spreads past it, trying to interact with it while the gas isn't there will result in the prompt: "Requires radiation gas". This buy station is like the Scavenger's Deployable Buy Station, but with a different batter system that has fewer items to barter for and uses Damascus's dog tags.
With the release of Season One of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, a new Public Event named Fly Buy was added in which multiple Deployable Buy Stations would be dropped into the map.
