"Aim faster after sprinting. Mantle and climb faster."
Create-A-Class description.

Dexterity is a Tier 3 perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It allows the player to climb ladders faster, mantle over objects faster, recover from melee faster, and reduces the time it takes to raise the players weapon after sprinting. Dexterity can be used in tandem with weapons that feature the Quickdraw Handle for even more effective rushing classes.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

"Reload and switch weapons faster."
— In-game description

Dexterity returns in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It lets players reload and switch weapons faster. It is unlocked at Level 5.

This perk is commonly used in tandem with weapons with relatively slow reload times or switch-out times, such as snipers and light machine guns. As these weapons leave the player vulnerable, especially in close quarters combat and Free-for-All matches, players may not have the chance to reload before engaging another enemy. It can especially be useful to snipers who also need to quickly switch to their secondary. However, run and gun classes to sport a benefit, as they can benefit from keeping suppressing fire whilst on the move.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Dexterity is a Tier 2 perk. It allows the user to mantle, climb and slide faster. It also speeds up weapon swapping and increases weapon accuracy while jumping or mantling.

Trivia

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

  • Dexterity can change the reload animations of certain weapons.
    • With the RPR Evo, the player shunts the magazine out of the weapon and puts a fresh new magazine in the gun off screen with one hand.
    • With the Kendall 44, the magazine is simply dropped out of the weapon and a new one is inserted.
    • With the NV4, the magazine is swung out sideways while a new one is rapidly inserted, rather than the player pressing the eject button and loading a new magazine.
    • With the Erad, the frontal portion of the gun is rapidly opened and the magazine is removed, then a new magazine is added while the gun is canted, whereas normally the canted animation would not occur.
