Disco of the Dead is a musical track featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The song first appeared as an easter egg inside the church in the Black Ops IIIZombies map Der Eisendrache. This can be activated by shooting the smaller globe when it is aligned with the rocket that orbits the bigger globe. As a result, the room is lighted as if the bigger globe has become a disco ball, while the track plays in the background. The song was also used in the Multiplayer map Knockout from the same game.
The song was also used as background music for the emote "Dancing Shoes" in the Multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout modes in Black Ops 4. The song returned in the coffin dance easter egg in the Black Ops Cold War Zombies map, Die Maschine.
