"Take reduced damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire."

E.O.D. ("Explosive Ordnance Disposal") is a Tier 1 perk in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It reduces damage taken from explosives (except from killstreaks) and fire, acting like Flak Jacket/Blast Shield from previous games. It is unlocked by default.

Before the 1.14.0 Perk rebalancing it also allowed the user to hack enemy Claymores, Proximity Mines, C4s and Trophy Systems. This ability was moved over to the Tier 3 perk Spotter .
