EMZs have exosuits, and can be easily distinguished from other zombies by the blue electricity on their body. They seem to spawn after round 4.
When a player is hit by the EMZ or if a player attempts to boost away from one, it will produce an EMP, shutting down the player's exosuit. The exosuit is disabled for five seconds, and during these five seconds, the player will not be able to use any exosuit ability. Their view will also be blurred, similarly to the System Hack effects. When an EMZ dies the dead corpse will leak out a blue fluid of some sort, possibly the electricity it has been exposed to. It is best to kill an EMZ once spotted, as disabling exosuits can be problematic in higher rounds, as it prevents the player from using it to quickly escape. EMZs can also disable the XS1 Goliath's rockets, leaving the player with just the chain gun and the melee attack.
Should the player have no exosuit, it will not do anything, and deal the same damage as regular zombies.
During Security Dogs rounds, there is a possibility that a dog with the EMZ characteristics will spawn. It will have the ability to disable Exoskeletons upon hitting players as well.
