El Asilo (Spanish: The Asylum) is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. It is a Core Map designed for 6v6 matches.
An alternate version of the map themed around the Mexican's Day of the Dead was available during the Haunting event between October 17th and November 6th, 2023.
The map was made available in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile during its limited release. However, it was removed at the launch of the game.
Overview[]
El Asilo is a medium-sized map set at a clubhouse and its surrounding area in Las Almas. Surrounding the clubhouse are various cliffsides and smaller buildings that provide sightlines around the sides of the clubhouse, favoring medium and long-range playstyles. The clubhouse itself features numerous hallways and chokepoints for close-quarters engagements, including a second floor on both the east and west wings of the building that provide a vantage point over the central hallway.
