The Entangler is a special wonder weapon featured in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies mode. It appears in all of the Ghosts 'N Skulls machines and can also be used outside of the machines in The Beast from Beyond, where it plays a pivotal role in the map's main easter egg.
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Entangler is used primarly in the Ghosts 'N Skulls machines to capture ghosts and cubes and later throw them at the skulls. To capture one of these, the player must aim at a ghost or cube with the Entangler and hold the fire button. It will send a beam to the object before it pulls it to the player. Releasing the fire button will launch the object depending on where the player is looking.
To unlock it in The Beast from Beyond, the player must have collected the second skull for Skullbreaker. After it is obtained, the Entangler will spawn in the center of the Cargo Bay in front of Trail Blazers. As a special weapon which can be equipped by pressing left on the D-Pad, the player can use the Entangler to grab ahold of zombies, turning them into ghosts. Once captured, they can be launched at other zombies to kill them.
The Entangler is used during the map's main easter egg a few times. It is used to obtain two of the four floppy disks for N31L, open the room closed off by the two forcefields, obtain the button from the wall within Wyler's theater and using it to rip out N31L's head from the control panel and also bring him to the Pack-a-Punch Machine. It also can be used to obtain the Brute's head for the Alien Fuses and the Turnstile piece from the dumpster by the KBS Longbow. With it, the player can use the time machine by the Pack-a-Punch portal and set it to the date Shaolin Shuffle is set in. Once the rift to the past is open, the player will have a couple of minutes to grab the Turnstile piece with the Entangler and launch it into the rift.
