The Escargot is a submachine gun featured in the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It can be obtained from the wall or from the Mystery Box. It has a very high of rate and can run out of ammo extremely quickly. 

When Pack-A-Punched, it is called the Pièce de Résistance.

Trivia

• "Escargot" means "snail" in French, referring to the snail drum magazine used by the weapon. There is also a drawing of a snail on the magazine in first-person view.
  • The upgraded name "Pièce de Résistance" literally translates to "piece of resistance", but is actually an idiom for "masterpiece", sometimes used in the cooking context.
• In first person, the weapon is held by the magazine, but in third person it is held by the handguard.
