Exfiltration is a limited-time mode featured in Call of Duty: Warzone. The mode was available between March 4th and March 11th, 2021 during the Season Two of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The mode returned between June 20th and June 22nd, 2022 on Rebirth Island.

Overview

Working in a similar fashion as the Battle Royale mode, Exfiltration additionally features a large area at the start of match indicating where a radio will drop with a 4-minute timer. As the timer runs out, the area will shrink to show a more accurate location.

Once the radio has dropped, a 5-minute timer will appear and will only start a player picks the radio. The player who has picked the radio will be highlighted on the Tac Map as well as on the HUD of every player. Additional time will be added to the timer if the player holding the radio is killed.

Once the timer is down to zero, the match ends with the player (and/or their team) holding radio winning. Much like Battle Royale, the match can ends when only one player or team remains before the timer reaches zero.
