Extinction Protocol was an event featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies available between October 30th and November 6th, 2025.
Overview[]
Taking place exclusively in the Zombies mode, players were tasked with eliminating zombies with Supports or with Field Upgrades, to climb a leaderboard, comparing their performance with other players and earning GobbleGums.
Upon playing and finishing a match during the event, players were placed in a leaderboard with 29 other randomly selected players. Specific placements in the leaderboard are guaranteed higher-end rewards, with each position after earning all the previous rewards. Rewards were granted after the event finished, based on the players' final placement.
