Faction Showdown

FactionShowdown Event Overview MWII WZ2 — Event menu.

Faction Showdown was an event featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 available between August 4th and August 16th, 2023 during Season Five of Modern Warfare II.

On August 30th, 2023, the event returned featuring new weapon and vehicle camouflage challenges available until September 26th. The player would have to play modes in Multiplayer and Warzone to complete all the challenges to obtain different rewards.

Overview[]

Players had to complete challenges between August 4th to August 16th, 2023 within Warzone or Multiplayer, for either Task Force 141 or Shadow Company which would grant players specific rewards. At the end of the event, the faction with the most kills would reward players who completed all the challenges with additional rewards.

The winning faction was Shadow Company with over 3.3 billion combined kills while Task Force 141 had over 2.5 billion combined kills.

Community Challenge[]

Each faction featured three rewards, an Operator Skin, a Weapon Camouflage, and a Double Battle Pass XP Token. The rewards were only available to the players who completed all the challenges for the winning faction, in this case Shadow Company.

Players were given five challenges for each faction. If the player completes all 5 challenges, they are granted a Weapon Blueprint.

Weapon Camouflage Challenges[]

Once the player completes a weapon class, they were rewarded the "Eddies" Weapon Camouflage for that specific class. Once all classes were completed, they obtained the "Eddies Supreme" Weapon Camouflage for all classes as well as the "Payment Fulfilled" Weapon Charm.

Vehicle Camouflage Challenges[]

Once the player completes a vehicle type, they are rewarded with the "Challenge Ride" skin for that specific vehicle. Once the player completes six challenges, they are rewarded a Weapon Blueprint, Loading Screen and Emblem.

Dirt Bike		Perform 20 air tricks with the Dirt Bike.
MRAP		Get 30 Operator kills using the turrets on the MRAP.
