Festive Fervor was an event featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone available between December 16th, 2021 and January 4th, 2022. A store sale was also available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Mobile called "12 Festive Days of Deals".
Call of Duty: Warzone
The event featured exclusive gameplay mechanics within Caldera.
Festive Fir Tree
Christmas trees would spawn around the map in any mode. Players had to stay close to the trees to secure them. Three tiers were available the longer the players stayed close to the trees. The higher tier rewarded players with legendary-tier weapons and killstreaks. However, players could also get Coal, attracting Krampus.
Krampus
Krampus appeared in Caldera to hunt down and eliminate players. Every three minutes, Krampus hunted a random team which could fight back and eliminate Krampus. Players who received a Coal from Supply Boxes and Crates also attracted Krampus.
Elf and Seek
Several Elfs would spawn around the map. Once a player got within 10 meters of an elf, they began yelling.
Call of Duty: Vanguard
Festive Fervor also introduced new features, mode, and map into Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Multiplayer
Within Multiplayer, a new map taking place in a christmas-themed Shipment was released, called Shipmas. A new mode called Armageddon also became available.
Like in Warzone, Krampus would spawn during Multiplayer matches. Unlike Warzone however, Krampus would target players camping, with the lowest score, or the least objective count. Krampus could perform Finishing Moves on the players.
The Elfs were also available in Multiplayer, where they were called Elf Team Six. Players eliminating those elfs were rewarded with an increased match score as well as more progress towards their Killstreaks.
Zombies
Within Zombies, the Fountain Square in Der Anfang was decorated with Christmas lights and wreaths, presents, and snowmen. Furthermore, the Boom Schreiers were wrapped with glowing tinsel and Sturmkriegers wore Santa's hat.
Kortifex could also be heard saying "Jingle Hells" at the start of a match as well having several quotes referencing Christmas throughout the match.
Challenges
Festive Fervor had 6 challenges for both Vanguard Multiplayer and Warzone, upon completion of either set of challenges the player would receive a Rare Type 11 "Ol' Timey" blueprint.

12 Festive Days of Deals was a feature in the stores for Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty: Mobile, that lowers prices by 55%. It lasted from December 14th to December 25th, 2021.
