Chaos Moshpit is a special iteration of the usual Mosh Pit gamemode featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops III that utilizes maps of small sizes with gamemodes that exhibit fast-paced gameplay.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops II It is a game mode found in the "Bonus" playlist, and consisted of random gametypes in random maps. The gametypes available were Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Headquarters and Domination. Chaos Moshpit was the only way to play on the map Nuketown 2025 before the update on April 15, 2013, which put the map in regular rotation and removed Chaos Moshpit.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops III it is a game mode in the "bonus" playlists, that contains Team Deathmatch, Kill ConfirmedHardpoint, Safeguard, Uplink and Domination gamemodes in small maps only. Chaos Moshpit map rotations are made up of non-DLC maps only. The playlist was removed during Summer 2017 along with the other bonus playlists. During the week of October 6th, 2017 to October 13th, 2017, Chaos Moshpit was available for play with Double Weapon XP.
