The Decimator Shield is a wonder weapon featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies, mentioned in the map Der Anfang and introduced in the map Terra Maledicta. It also returns in The Archon.
How to obtain[]
In Terra Maledicta, the player must first reach Merchant Road and approach the Decimator Shield locked inside crystals forming a hand. This will trigger a conversation between the Elder Gods. They will then need to complete a Portal Objective, which will trigger another conversation once they have returned to the Hub.
The player then need to interact with a Rune Stone located at Tents near the Demonic Frenzy fountain. This will trigger another conversation between the Elder Gods. A portal will then open and the player will need to complete the Purge objective. Once done, the player will be able to destroy four yellow crystals located on a wall facing the Temple at West Spring; above the spawn at Temple; at the Temple on the opposite side of Merchant Road; and on a wall facing the Temple at East Spring.
Once the crystals are destroyed, the player will need to interact with a Rune Stone located at Bazaar, beneath the Diabolical Damage fountain. This will trigger another conversation before a portal open leading to the Dark Aether. Upon reaching the Dark Aether, the Decimator Shield will appear in the sky followed by Zaballa who will confront the player. The player will need to complete the Sacrific objective. Once done, the player will be able to return to Merchant Road and pick up the Decimator Shield after a short conversation.
