The Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI is a faction that appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. They face the Mercs on Raid, Aftermath, Express, Grind, Studio, Detour and Rush. In campaign, they appear in the mission "Cordis Die", fighting the mercenaries in the streets of downtown Los Angeles.
They are briefly mentioned in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies map Blood of the Dead by Stanley Ferguson in a radio, where they attempt to confront the Warden of Alcatraz.
Call of Duty Black Ops II[]
On June 19 2021, the social media outlet "Cordis Die" revealed "incontrovertible evidence" that the United States Government was responsible for the cyber attack that crippled the Chinese Stock Exchange, outraging China's Premier Chen. In response, the U.S. Government takes out Cordis Die's various networks.
On July 02, 2021, Cordis Die revealed on YouTube, that they had killed the director of the FBI in response to having their Twitter account suspended and released a video of the corpse being found by the police. The corpse was found to have been burned severely and the watch had stopped at 8:16pm.

The FBI appear in multiplayer and face off exclusively against the Mercs on Aftermath, Detour, Express, Grind, Raid, Rush, Studio, and Takeoff.

The Shotgunner variant appears as a default character alongside the Navy SEAL Assault and Shotgunner albeit the FBI logo on his chest has been replaced with "Rafina".

Trivia[]
- In Black Ops II, the rifleman model appears on the icon of Tactical Mask.
- Two of the models for United States Secret Service NPCs reuse the FBI's player models but with the uniform recolored to grey and the heads for the rifleman and shotgunner being swapped. A third model uses the sub-machine gunner's head and some of its gear on the base model of a shotgunner.
