"Break action pistol. Hand loaded double barrel pistol fires 12 gauge shells. Excellent damage at close range with a 1-shot kill potential."
— In-game description

The Marshal is a double-barreled pistol featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was added on August 18th, 2021 as part of the Season Five update.

Overview[]

Multiplayer[]

Much like its successor, the Marshal is a powerful close-quarters-combat weapon, achieving great damage at immediate ranges while losing potency and overall effectiveness at longer distances. Because of its lack of range, it is ill-advised to use the Marshal for anything outside of its effective damage range. Due to the Marshal's unique nature, only a select amount of attachments can be used. To compensate for the Marshal's weak range, the 12.1" Extended barrel can be used to slightly increase the Marshal's maximum damage range, while the 6.5" Cut Down barrel will turn the Marshal into a sawed-off, allowing for a faster follow-up shot at the expense of overall range.

Zombies[]

The Marshal can be brought into any map via Create-A-Class, at Loadout rarity. When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine it becomes the The Law, gaining an increased magazine size of 3 and reserve ammo of 69. If upgraded with the Dual Wield attachment, it will become the Law and Order.
