Nuketown '84 is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that was released for free on November 24th, 2020. It is a remake of Nuketown from Call of Duty: Black Ops. Nuketown '84 was also playable in Zombies through Zombies Onslaught, although it is currently only playable on Onslaught Containment. With the Season One Reloaded update on February 4th, 2021, Nuketown '84 was added to the Gunfight map rotation.

Being a remake and happening in the same place of the original Nuketown, the map layout is identical. The map appearance gives it the look of a town that has been abandoned, run down, and heavily graffitied with 80's-styled thematic.

  • Nuketown '84 takes place during the United States' Independence Day, commemorating the country's independence from the British Empire.
  • If the player shoots all the heads of the mannequins present in the level within the first minute and thirty seconds, their view will be changed to a synthwave style landscape, along with the song "Storm Surge" by Brian Tuey being played in the background alongside unlocking it for the Music Player.
  • Similar to all Nuketown remakes since Call of Duty: Black Ops II, there is a cinematic played after the match end. This time in Nuketown '84, is featuring an arcade console with GAME OVER and an electronic voice saying the words on the screen and then a nuclear bomb blast.
  • The mannequin easter egg is not available in the Zombies version of the map.
  • When looking at the Nuketown '84 sign, it says "SITE B". Outside of the map, a big crater can be seen.
