The Pak 43 gun (Panzerabwehrkanone 43) is a German anti-tank gun appearing in Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War.

Call of Duty: United Offensive[]

The Pak 43 first appears in the campaign mission Bois Jacques where the player will encounter a battery on the Jeep ride, the surrounding infantry and gun crew can be engaged then with the mounted M2 Browning. In the following mission, Crossroads, the same battery is reported as being employed in an indirect artillery role, with the player's squad destroying both guns, upon their discovery of them by the player, with demolition charges.

The anti-tank gun is encountered again in the Russian campaign level Kursk where the player commands a T-34-85. This time in an aggressive state, used in their intended role as an anti-tank gun, the player will find two Pak 43 guns guarding a crossing that must be destroyed.

Call of Duty 3[]

The Pak 43 guns are used by the player in the final campaign level, Chambois, to destroy the German armor. After the German armor is destroyed the Pak 43 guns will be suddenly destroyed by Luftwaffe and the player will have to defend the position until air support finally arrives. If the player didn't destroy enough German armor and the guns are destroyed, they will just have to use some Bazookas right near the destroyed guns.

Call of Duty: World at War[]

The Pak 43 is seen briefly in the early section of "Heart of the Reich" where a couple are commandeered by the Red Army and are used to shell the Reichstag in preparation for the frontal assault later in the level. It appears to use the exact same model and textures that were found in the one from Call of Duty 3.
