Task Force Trident, officially known as Special Operation Task Force 006, and is a faction featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard.
History[]
Task Force Trident was formed by Captain Carver Butcher and consisted of U.S. Army soldiers Francis "Kai" Lanakila (who is selected as Trident's leader) and Lewis Howard as well the Hukbalahap guerrilla fighter Isabella Reyes.
In December 1944, they accompanied Butcher via aircraft to investigate German activity on the island of Caldera but were almost immediately shot out of the sky upon entering the island's airspace. Ordered to leave Butcher behind as the plane went down, the members of Trident parachuted down and regrouped before continuing their investigation as well as finding Butcher.
