Trivia

• Alongside various numbers, the keyart also features words in Japanese: "ヴァンガード 来たる" that translates to "Vanguard Coming Soon" which was a reference to the reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard that took place on August 19th and "狐" (Kitsune) which translates to "Fox", a reference to the operator Kaori "Kitsune" Tanaka released with the season.
• The word "Sally" with 8 tally marks are visible on the right weapon held by the character. This is a reference to Call of Duty: Black Ops which also features the word "Sally" with 8 tally marks on a weapon held by the character on its cover. Both being references to "Mustang and Sally", the upgraded version of the M1911 featured in several Zombies modes.
• Season Five was originally set to be released on August 12th, 2021.
