"Yuri, you've got control. Light 'em up!"
John "Soap" MacTavish ordering Yuri to take control of the turret.

The Remote Turret is a helicopter-mounted machine gun that can be controlled via a small touch screen device found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The Remote Turret was used in the campaign mission "Return to Sender", there, it is mounted on Nikolai's Mi-24 Hind which is doing strafe runs around Waraabe's compound located in Bosaso, Somalia. It used by former Spetsnaz operative, Yuri, to take out enemy nests and positions that resist his team's advance on Waraabe's headquarters.

Much like the AC-130's gatling gun, it fires at enemies from above, showing an X around its crosshairs whenever a hit has been confirmed. It uses a full-color camera, that shows blue diamonds to designate friendly troops with an extra diamond to designate the user and red boxes for enemies.
