Fists are usable as a melee weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If the player leaves a weapon slot empty, they will automatically equip their Fists.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III[edit | edit source]

Fists take two hits to kill an enemy at full health. They are now the default weapon when a weapon slot is empty, replacing the Combat Knife which is now an equippable weapon at level 40.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare[edit | edit source]

"Hand to hand combat."
— Description

Like with Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Fists are used as a weapon when the player either has no primary and/or secondary weapon equipped.

In Rave in the Redwoods and Shaolin Shuffle, Fists act as the players' starting melee weapon.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone[edit | edit source]

Fists are only usable in Battle Royale and Gunfight.

Some loadouts in standard Gunfight will include the Fists as a secondary weapon. In Gunfight: OSP, Fists serve as each player's starting weapon until another weapon is equipped. They can be switched back to until a second weapon is picked up.

In Battle Royale, everyone will begin with an X16 and the Fists. The first weapon picked up will always replace the Fists regardless of which weapon the player was holding. The Fists are also available in the Gulag, both while watching other fights and while participating in one.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Call of Duty: Black Ops III[edit | edit source]

  • If the player presses the reload button with Fists out, an animation will occur where the player's character punches the palm of their left hand with the right hand.
