As much as it would be great to cover '''everything''' about a character, these types of sections are largely subjective. We'd end up having arguments for days about if someone was a passive aggressive or a tormented lover. Plus Possessions would consist of what we already have covered in the weapon section of the infobox. Also, the personality section would only be applied across a very small number of characters as the majority do nothing but get shot.[[File:AdvancedRookieSig2.png|160px|link=User:AdvancedRookie]] 10:51, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Forums: Index War Room Appearances Section
Forum logo

I think that this wiki needs an "Appearance" section on mainspace articles. I saw this on the Nikolai Badanov page, and thought it might be a good idea. Although I'm not sure, I think I recall the Harry Potter Wiki and the SpongeBob Wiki doing this at one point in time. The section would include things like hair color, hair style, skin color, etc.. I was also thinking that we would have two sub-headings under the section. See my sandbox for a general idea. Thanks for reading this! Your feedback is appreciated. Nice idea however, I imagine you're sick of hearing this but COD:NOT. We are not other wikis, just because the Harry Potter and Spongebob wiki did this (Past tense, did they give up the idea?) doesn't mean we should too. Also, I feel this fairly unnecessary as we normally have pictures on these articles, and therefore people can see what a character looks like and the majority of the time, if their appearance is altered, it is noted in the article. As I said, it's a nice idea, but we don't need this. (This is before we get into arguments over eye-colour)File:AdvancedRookieSig2.png 07:26, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think people come on this wikia to check up on what the characters' eye color or how they style their hair or how it's curly or has a blonde streak through it. The Wikia Contributor T | C | E | Q04:03, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

New Suggestion

OK, it doesn't look like anyone aggrees with me on the "Appearances" section. But now I have two other proposals.

Personality

Okay, I just thought of a new heading area. What if we made a "Personality" heading that listed things such as their mood, personality, and overall "aroma" (???). It was formerly on the Nikolai Badanov page, and I thought it was a good idea.

Belongings/Possessions

I don't think anybody will be on my side on the "Personality" section, but I actually think that this one is a very good idea. We would have subheadings underneath it, the heading reading what the object would be, followed by a quote related to the object, and a brief description of how the object was related to the character. The Harry Potter Wiki already does this, and something similar to this can be seen on the Samantha Maxis page. USAM170TalkUSA 10:40, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
