I think we should set up a page devoted to active call of duty clans, requirements should be that the person who writes the page must have a set amount of edits on the wikia and be active on it, that the clan must be active and have at least 20 or more members, and that they must keep the names of the clan members up to date, organized and real. If these qualifications are not met then the page will be deleted.
what does everyone think of this?? —Unsigned comment was added by Wafer Legion

No. We shouldn't. We are a wiki on CoD canon, and as should be obvious, clans are not canon. YuriKaslov 06:16, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
I can guarantee that this would become outdated quickly, no matter how many updates we require. Verifying that submitted information is true and not bloated or even blatantly false would be close to impossible. This would be pretty much pure free advertizing for virtually any clan that walks in that I don't think we, as a site, should be giving. If someone wants to recruit for their clan on this site, they can ask people they know here or make a blog about it with their own effort. There are other sites that offer services like these far more efficiently than we ever could. Sgt. ChiafriendRifleman 07:18, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
Strong Oppose — No, no, and thrice no. We are an online encyclopedia for CoD, not a forum to promote everyone's stupid clans. Sgt. S.S. 12:33, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
Strong Oppose — There are literally thousands of active clans, and to encapsulate them all would take months. Imagine the page; it would be a mile long and, assuming it was updated daily, would take forever to load, especially on slwoer connections. There is absolutely no way this could ever work without someone abusing it. elmo's ramblings 12:41, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — Absolutely not, this wiki is cannon only. 14:53, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — Per all the reasons given, and if the clans want something like that they can create their own wiki Talk 09:29, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose — Red Dead Wiki tries to do this, but it doesn't work that well. Poketape Talk 00:58, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — Clans can go on User's pages if they will, they have no place in the actual wiki. Ryemccrory 15:54, November 30, 2010 (UTC) User has insufficient mainspace edits. 17:29, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
Strong Oppose — Since when were we a community log? The only reason we have one for CDWC is because it's official. Smuff [The cake is a lie.] 19:38, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
