I've just been wondering if during an online match you use a class something like this...

SMG Pistol Marathon Lightweight Commando Pro

...Score a 4 Kill streak and get a care package, then wield that care package making you move alot faster than you should be able to then going around stabbing people moving at a very fast rate, is a glitch / exploit that you should not be able to do, I have done this a few times and sometimes people complain about it. So I'm just wondering if its unfair or wrong to do so am interested to know what the commmunity thinks.

It's an exploit, but not a glitch and it's not wrong. It's extremely unfair because you move INCREDIBLY fast and knife quickly too. But if you use it you're not breaking any rules.  FANMADE_Animated_Derpy_Hooves_desktop_ponies_sprite.gif Sig1.png Sig2.png 14:32, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

I have strong doubts it's a Glitch.. a glitch implies, it's not working as it's intended, such as the Javelin glitch, the pavelow killstreak glitch, etc etc. It seems to me the speed boost was intentional. Is it an exploit? Maybe, but no worse in my opinion, then a team of Cold Blooded M82/M107 .50 snipers camping near the Northwest corner of Derail, next to the fuel tanks, shipping containers, and inside the warehouse. Annoying as hell? Yes. Fun to use? HELL YES! Thats a reason I use it, because cruising around the map like that, knowing one mistake will get me caught on the edge of a box or something, while scarring the crap out of the enemy team is something I like to call STRATEGY and FUN. It's not the fact that you're running around dashing at high speed knifing people. It's the fact that you're doing so, and it scares the living daylights out of someone, because any second, you can come out of a corner, running and jumping over objects, like a parkour runner hyped on a beer stein size amount of energy drinks. It's because it's unnatural in a First person SHOOTER, to have someone just owning everything they spot with knife kills. To quote a famous movie line: "You know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan"… even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I told the press that, like, a gang-banger will get shot, or a truck load of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that one little old mayor will die…well, then everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, then everything becomes…chaos." --Razgriez 15:42, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

I think IW intended for you to run faster with the marker so that you can get to the spot you want the package to drop sooner. However, I think the knife faster is a glitch. LITE992 17:33, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Damn... just like I did with the Model 1887s... I'm going to be eating my own words it seems.... FourZeroTwo confirming that it was a bug. I presumed that by now, all the major bugs had been fixed... guess not Seriously IW and ActiBlizzard, have you ever heard of the debugging test play phase? Or were you too busy trying to rush something out for the holidays for money or staring at elf women in WoW?--Razgriez 17:36, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Glitch: An unintended defect or malfunction in a machine or plan.
Exploit: Something that is used by one not in the way it was created for in order to achieve an advantage.

It is an exploit. The intention of running faster with the marker was so that you could get away from the heat of battle, not to run around knifing people like a hunchback. Click for a list of other admins Bovell Talk | Contrib. 18:00, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
