− | Alot of users probaly won't be getting MW3 the day, week, month it comes out. Granted a lot will, a lot also won't. Its probably best to hold this event after the WaW one. Maybe in December/January when other users have managed to get MW3. {{Signatures/Damac1214}} 20:59, October 11, 2011 (UTC) |

When we decided to do wiki community events a few months ago, we decided we would start with BO and work backwards. Well, MW3 is coming out, so should we break the chain and go with a MW3 community event?
Sticking a WaW event in between now and the release of MW3 is not a good idea, as there is simply not enough time.
So, what should the next event be? WaW in order to continue with the chronological order, or MW3 in order to celebrate the release of the new game? sign your name under a heading. If there is not enough support either way to show a general consensus, we will go with the status quo - a WaW event next.

- I think we can squeak in a quick WaW event, and a few people might not be getting it the week of release. Redskin-2614:56, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I think a WaW event would work out just fine. The only problem would be getting groups together. ThatNoob Talk 16:19, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I might swing down to MW3, but if we did this in like two weeks or something, we could squeeze it in before MW3, and then give the wiki sometime to buy MW3 and adjust to it, get to know it, level up, and all that before we did the MW3 event. http://i.imgur.com/KUDLq.png 19:45, October 9, 2011 (UTC)
- I won't have MW3 until latter. Collector1
- I as well cant get mw3 on release and thats true for a lot of people also give people time to learn how to play MW3.
Modern Warfare 3
- Might as well celebrate the new game. We'll hold the WaW event later on. 14:54, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I'd prefer MW3, but we've just had the (which completely failed in my group) MW2 event, and if this goes just as badly...can't we wait and hold a Codference first? YELLOWLUCARIO TALK 15:44, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Why would we hold a CoDFerence on one topic? User:Sactage/s.js 16:02, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

- I say we take WaW event... and give it to MW3. The Wikia Contributor T | C | E | Q20:59, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Everyone's going to be playing MW3. It would be fun for the community to play together. DarkMetroid567 21:28, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I would happily come to a MW3 event, not too much a fan of WaW (Don't like semi-auto rifles much and not that great with SMGs) - Crazy Sam10 Talk PollFile:ShadowAttackSmallAni.gif 21:31, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- We should take the WaW event, and push it to next year! - MLGISNOT4ME [Talk] - 21:33, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- MW3 event will be very good but per YellowRiolu organise it better!!!!! File:MW Weapon AK47.png AK47 lover Talk 07:59, October 9, 2011 (UTC)

- Wait, what? TWC, it actually wasn't. Users didn't turn up all over the show. This gives me an idea... YELLOWLUCARIO TALK 16:52, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

- Just as long as we have the event in January-February to make sure that the majority of people actually own the game, otherwise it would just be the noob that will dedicate his life to get a game early isn't one of the few people to be able to participate in an event. --Azuris(talk) 01:17, October 11, 2011 (UTC)
How about we don't do another event and wait a little while for a change?
- This sounds like a thought. Rambo362 03:16, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
Hang on just a minute-as CoaZ said-we don't hold them often. Besides I want to get to know the community. YELLOWLUCARIO TALK 16:50, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
Wait just a minute.
I know that, especially on XBL Group 2 people didn't turn up. I think that users that WILL turn up and that can be the most trusted to turn up should be in groups so they can play proper games, and the people who can't be trusted (or have never done this before) should be put in their own groups. Seems fair really, because I don't want to go with people who I've never heard of and who probably don't know anything about CoD/MW3, or people who won't turn up. YELLOWLUCARIO TALK 16:56, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Don't feel bad. There were 0 PC players for both events. Shotrocket6 17:12, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Why does it seem like you're the only person who had this problem and the only person making a huge deal about it? And this sounds like a subtle attempt to violate COD:AEAE. We're sorry people in your group didn't show up but I fail to see why we should shift the entire group choosing over a fairly petty incident that could've been easily rectified (Join/Merge with another group like mine did).
