I believe ghost may return. several times during the new trailer you see a silouete of some who has the same posture of ghost. also during the england section of the video the soldier on the left has headphones almost identical to ghost's. the last time you see ghost in the game is loose ends. at the beginning he complains about vests which may or may not be fireproof. also the shadow company soldier only pours gasoline on roach. other people say maybe ghost was working with sheperd or maybe even makorav. if you have a comment or theory please post it. Except for a few things.

  1. Ghost makes no such complaint.
  2. Even if he's wearing a "fireproof vest" it's not going to magically stop the rest of him from combusting.
  3. The headphones aren't indicative of anything; it's a common model among real life spec ops, and can be seen being worn by several TF141 redshirts.
  4. Just because you only see one soldier pouring gasoline, in an indiscriminate fashion over two bodies laying in a ditch against each other, doesn't mean Ghost isn't doused as well.
  5. You've made no attempt to explain how he survived being shot either in the chest or the head, two areas highly likely to result in near instantaneous death.

Face it, he ain't comin' back. He's dead.

He's dead. One does not survive being shot point-blank in the chest with a .44 Magnum round. Even if the bullet did not kill him, he would have died from blood loss. If, by some miracle, he didn't bleed to death, infection would set into the wound causing it to become gangrenous and require immediate medical attention. The bullet would have also completely shredded one of his lungs, so he could only accept 50% of his required oxygen in take. He'd eventually suffocate or drown in his own blood. The only way he could have possibly survived, was if Archer and Toad found him and he was still alive. Even then there would be a very slim chance he would survive, considering the area around the safehouse was then crawling with Shadow Company soldiers. It's ludicrous to even consider it. I understand what your saying but this is the world of call of duty, where you can jump off any height and not get hurt, where a sniper round to the heart is just a flesh wound, and where you run through Rio de Janero and fight a Militia by yourself and the only wound you get is from falling off a building.
Also one on the creators when asked if ghost was dead he said "not exactly" and then "you'll see what I mean soon".
I completely understand your real explanation, but Call of duty isn't the place to be real. It's a place where you have a story line that pleases the audience and then throw in a Semi-good multiplayer which is the reason people buy it. I play Call of Duty because it's entertaning to go online and see how mad 12 year olds get when they get "noob tubed".
so I completely understand why Ghost would be dead in real life, but it's a video game, Anything can happen.

That's like saying Dimitri Petrenko is still alive because in Call of Duty multiplayer, you can walk through Nova Gas without so much as a scratch. Or Gaz survived being shot. You don't have to agree with me. There are also people who say Gaz is Ghost which is crazy and i don't believe it. But as i said before anything can happen I'm not saying it will I'm just trying to put a contrevercial topic on the water cooler so we can have a debate about someone who was possibly the most upsetting death in call of duty to some people. And those people have EXTREMELY thought out theories on how he could have survived. I didn't think Nikolia Would come back into the story at all, but he possibly saved soap from death. So I'm trying to keep the theory that Ghost is alive. And the reason the people that make these games are call creators is because they create the story and they can create some marecal medicine that heals lungs and completely revive him back to health. BOOM, idea. BOOM, what if there is a FLASHBACK!!! technically, if there is a flashback Ghost will have returned to MW3, and if Ghost returns to MW3 I am right. Think back a loooooong time ago in MW2, Where was Ghost during Cliffhanger ?


Or even, in the level Loose Ends the helicopters start flying away. Maybe Archer and Toad did get to him immediately after Shadow Company left, which might have been just in time to stop the bleeding and get some sort of transport. I mean how did they get there to start?

I know this all would have to be perfect, and I understand that it is EXTREMELY unlikely so you don't have to give reasons or anything like that. It is just a theory.

And again maybe there's a flashback. We may never know. Actually we will on 11/8/11.

Again I am just throwing theories out there to make you guys waste your time trying to correct me. I will stick to my belief until we evidence to prove otherwise, anything you say can, and will be used against you in a court of law. Cep, I want to help you prove these guys wrong. Here is the sure fire way to prove Ghost is alive!

1. Get a buddy who owns a .44 Magnum revolver of any sort. (Extra points if it's a Colt Anaconda.)

2. Arrange a meeting in a forest.

3. Tell him to shoot you in the heart/lungs with said gun from 3 inches away.

4. Tell him to pour gasoline on you & light you on fire.

5. Live to tell the people wrong.\
