Francis Lanakila, also known as Kai, is an Operator of the Trident faction featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. Francis was released with Season One as part of the Battle Pass.

Francis appears in Call of Duty: Mobile and was added on November 9th, 2023, as part of the Season 10: 4th Anniversary Ground Forces subscription.

Biography

Born in Oahu, Francis grew up surrounded by foods brought in from different cultures from all over the world. He later served in the 442nd Infantry Regiment and the 100th Infantry Battalion. At home, Francis was stationed at the Sand Island Detention Camp and was largely ignorant of the inhumane treatment suffered by Japanese-Americans until he eventually found out and was disgusted.

At some point around 1944, Carver Butcher recruited him as the leader of Task Force Trident and they set off to Caldera.
