The French Syndicate is a criminal syndicate and serve as rivals to the Luttazzi Crime Family. They are featured in both the Multiplayer and Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and are primarily located within the Principality of Avalon. It was mentioned in the ending cutscene of Terminus, and during the Season One intro cinematic.
History[]
1930s[]
In 1939, the French Syndicate funded and built the first main Avalon stadium becoming the home of Avalon's soccer club, FC Corsaire, as well as a public gymnasium. The stadium was dismantled in 1981 and replaced with a new stadium, the Stade de la Trinité, funded by the Guild.
Working with Project Janus[]
Supplying Blacksite 13[]
Sometime before 1991, the French Syndicate would align themselves with Project Janus in assisting with testing humans with Aetherium. The French Syndicate would hire sibling smugglers' Maya and Nathan Aguinaldo to help "free" Filipino refugees, unbeknownst to the siblings that the Syndicate were selling these refugees to Project Janus' Dr. Revati Modi who was located at Blacksite 13 on Terminus Island.
After uncovering this secret, Nathan would also be captured by the Syndicate and sold to Dr. Modi who began testing him with Aetherium, turning him into an Amalgam. Maya, now joined by Dr. William Peck and Ex-Requiem operatives, would uncover his transformation and be forced to kill him, declaring her revenge against the French Syndicate.
Interrogating Gabriel Krafft[]
Maya and team would discover that the leader of the Syndicate, Francois "Franco" Moreau, and Enforcer Sergei Ravenov were in Avalon interrogating a professor named Gabriel Krafft after being hired by Janus director Edward Richtofen. The Syndicate were tasked with gathering intel on the Sentinel Artifact.
Allying with Rogue Black Ops[]
By December 1991, operatives of Rogue Black Ops aligned themselves with the French Syndicate after agents of the Pantheon infiltrated Avalon's criminal underworld. In helping the Rogue Black Ops with preventing the spread of the Pantheon, the Black Ops assisted in taking down the Luttazzi Crime Family.
