Frost is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, that was added with the Apocalypse map pack.
Overview[]
The map takes place in a small commercial district of Amsterdam in the midst of winter. The map is split in half by a frozen canal, which has three main access points: a wide vehicle bridge in the middle, a narrower pedestrian bridge at one end, and a frozen landing stage at the other end.
A climbable canal boat near the landing stage provides a way for players on the canal to access the drawbridge - and vice-versa. Two maintenance buildings, presumably used controlling the drawbridge, have windows diagonally opposite each other, covering the window.
For accessible buildings, the southern half has a bistro to the extreme south, but the cheese shop ("Perigee Cheese") in the middle on the edge of the canal provides four way access - with the storeroom having a window onto the canal - and will see the most fighting as a result.
The north half of the map has two accessible residences, but most fighting usually takes place. Like the cheese shop, one of the residences has a window directly onto the frozen canal.
There are numerous destructible vehicles in the streets.
