"Rapidly generates energy ammo, even when stowed."
— In-game description

The Fusion Mag is an attachment featured in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It is exclusive to weapons that are energy-based.

The Fusion Mag has varying effects dependant on the game mode; notably, in Campaign for most weapons, when not firing it will rapidly produce ammunition for the magazine, effectively constantly restocking the gun's ammunition while not effecting the stockpile, as long as the current magazine is not full. However, in Zombies this trait is only shared with the Type-2. Instead, the attachment rapidly refills the magazine but reduces the stockpile accordingly while doing so, having an effect closer to Extended Mags in that it reduces the necessity to reload, rather than producing ammunition in itself.

The regeneration effect varies by the type of weapon it is attached to and is especially quick when attached to automatic weapons. The slowest generation is on energy-based shotguns.
