Private Ganeles was a defector to the Red Army and affiliate of Friedrich Steiner seen in the Call of Duty: Black Ops mission "Project Nova".
Biography[]
Ganeles was an associate of Dr. Friedrich Steiner who defected along with him and three other Germans named Edrich, Forstadt, and Glaser to Red Army General Nikita Dragovich. Ganeles's exact role in Project Nova is unclear, although he was likely part of the Waffen-SS guards defending Steiner. Ganeles makes his only appearance in the mission "Project Nova, where he and Glaser are seen are seen standing next to Dragovich and Steiner. After Reznov's team begins searching the ship on which Nova 6 was stored, Ganeles is not seen (albeit by name) again. It is unknown as to whether he survived or was killed in the subsequent struggle for the ship when British Commandos arrived to seize Nova 6 for themselves.
