The German Empire (German: Deutsches Kaiserreich) is the name used to describe Germany and its colonies from 18 January 1871 to 18 November 1918. It was succeeded by the Weimar Republic on 9 November 1918. The German Empire only appears in the Zombies map "Origins" in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It is mentioned in the Nazi Zombies mode of Call of Duty: WWII.

In Origins, the Germans discover Element 115 in Northern France. The element is used to create Giant Robots and brings corpses back to life, creating the zombies, who quickly overrun the miners, and run up to the trenches, also infecting the soldiers.
