- "Flash back to a previous position while keeping all other conditions intact."
- — In-game description
Glitch is a Specialist Ability featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, exclusive to the Specialists Prophet and Blackjack.
Prophet hacks the combat simulation interface, allowing the player to teleport to a position they were previously. When activated, Prophet will disappear in a streak of blue light and reappear in another location. In open areas, the streak may be traced to determine where Prophet has teleported to. The position is not determined by time passed; players who use Glitch after remaining stationary for a long time will still be teleported to a previous location.
This ability is useful for escaping dangerous situations or lethal falls. Strategically timed Glitches can even allow players to teleport behind a pursuing enemy, giving them the upper hand.
Trivia[]
- Glitch was originally Reaper's Specialist Ability, but was later given to Prophet.
- If the player is stuck with a Semtex and then uses Glitch the Semtex will disappear. If the player sticks a Semtex onto an enemy, then Glitches, and the Semtex explodes and kills the enemy, it counts as a Glitch kill.
- If the player sets off a hostile H.I.V.E., if they time the Glitch right, they can avoid being killed by it.
