Private Joey Goldberg was a soldier who served with the Fox company in 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
Goldberg signed up for the paratroopers in 1943 and was a replacement to Fox Company, 506th PIR. He served along with the troopers of the 101st Airborne Division for the majority of the Battle of the Bulge. In December 1944, he and his squad was sent out on a jeep patrol along with Sgt. Moody's squad, which is where the patrol group was ambushed by a large German attack force that heading to Bastogne. He was killed by a tank when he stayed back to cover his squad while they fell back to the jeeps. His squad was eradicated too before they can escape with the jeep. He is killed by a directed hit from a Tiger tank's cannon.
