"Blowtorch & Corkscrew" (Physical Appearance)
- "Look on the bright side, after this you boys will probably get relieved and be on the boat home."
- — Maj. Gordon prior to the assault on Shuri Castle.
Major Gordon is the commanding officer in the American campaign of Call of Duty: World at War.
He is first mentioned in "Little Resistance", and is first heard in the level "Black Cats" talking to Booth over the radio. Sometimes the player will notice Roebuck talking to Major Gordon over the radio during cutscenes and/or missions, but he will not hear Gordon's replies to Roebuck's words. He is then seen at the end of "Blowtorch & Corkscrew" talking with Polonsky. He nonchalantly tells Polonsky that Shuri Castle is deserted, before he leaves in the truck carrying the wounded.
