Goriss is one of the men in the Dutch Resistance group along with Smits, Van de Berg, De Leeuw, Janssen, and Van Dyke that saves James Doyle after the latter's B-17 Flying Fortress has been shot down over the Netherlands, their leader being the Major Gerald Ingram (it is unclear whether Ingram is already a commanding officer of the SAS by the time of this mission). After Doyle joins their group, they continue their raid and succeed in blowing up a train bridge, vital to the German war effort.

Trivia

  • Contrary to the other members of the resistance group, Goriss is not a common second name in the Netherlands or Belgium. Although it leans close to Goris, which is a first name.
