Template:Infobox/soldier Goriss was one of the men in the Dutch Resistance group along with De Leeuw, Janssen, Smits, Van de Berg and Van Dyke. They saved James Doyle after his B-17 Flying Fortress had been shot down over the Netherlands, their leader being Major Ingram (it is unclear whether Ingram was already a commanding officer of the SAS by the time of this mission). After Doyle joined their group, they continued their raid and succeeded in blowing up a train bridge, vital to the German war effort.

Trivia

  • The Dutch resistance men are among the few who can be seen wielding the Lee-Enfield in Call of Duty: United Offensive.
  • If both Smits and Van de Berg are dead, Goriss will drive the escape lorry.
  • Contrary to the other members of the resistance group, Goriss is not a common second name in the Netherlands or Belgium. Although it leans close to Goris, which is a first name. This may be due to a lack of understanding on the developers' part
