Template:Infobox/soldierGoriss was one of the men in the Dutch Resistance group along with De Leeuw, Janssen, Smits, Van de Berg and Van Dyke. They saved James Doyle after his B-17 Flying Fortress had been shot down over the Netherlands, their leader being Major Ingram (it is unclear whether Ingram was already a commanding officer of the SAS by the time of this mission). After Doyle joined their group, they continued their raid and succeeded in blowing up a train bridge, vital to the German war effort.
If both Smits and Van de Berg are dead, Goriss will drive the escape lorry.
Contrary to the other members of the resistance group, Goriss is not a common second name in the Netherlands or Belgium. Although it leans close to Goris, which is a first name. This may be due to a lack of understanding on the developers' part
