Grenade can refer to several throw-able explosive devices throughout the Call of Duty series, and can be generally sorted into one of two types, lethal and tactical:

  • Smoke Grenade, a smoke grenade featured throughout the Call of Duty series.
  • Flashbang, a flashbang grenade featured in the Modern Warfare games, as well as Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
  • Stun Grenade, a stun grenade featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
  • Tabun Gas, a poison gas grenade featured in Call of Duty: World at War.
  • Nova Gas, a poison gas grenade featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • Decoy, a gunfire-simulating decoy grenade featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • EMP Grenade, an equipment and electronics destroying grenade featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
