The Gulag is a feature in Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile that allows the player to fight for their redeployment in Battle Royale.

Overview[]

The Gulag features either 1v1 or 2v2 that allows the player to fight for their redeployment only one time per game. Players are equipped with a random loadout featuring a Handgun or Shotgun with a Lethal and Tactical equipment. If a player has a Gulag Entry Token, they are able to return to the Gulag after already having been there. While waiting for their match to start, the player is equipped with Rocks and are able to throw them at other players. If a player hits an enemy with a rock who is currently fighting another player, they will be damaged for 1.

1v1[]

1v1 appears in all versions of Warzone and consists of the player fighting against another player. They have 20 seconds to kill each other until a flag appears, similar to that of Gunfight, and a player must capture it. If both players don't end up capturing the flag within the time limit, they are both eliminated.

2v2[]

2v2 appeared exclusively in Warzone 2.0 only available in Season One. Two players will fight against an opposing duo to fight for their victory. Instead of the flag appearing after 20 seconds, a new character appears, called the Jailer and wields a Minigun. Both teams have the choice to keep fighting one another or team up to fight the Jailer and have all 4 players return.
