In order to obtain the Hand of Hemera, the player must first locate a Dormant Hand around the map, which the Oracle will provide a cryptic clue to a location of one when visiting her after activating the Sentinel Artifact. Step 2[]
Once the player obtains a Dormant Hand, the player must bring it to the Shrine of Hemera in the Monument of Craterus and place it on the shrine. The player will be condensed in a small circular barrier and must survive until the barrier disappears. The Fallen Hand of Hemera can now be grabbed from the shrine.
Redeemed Hand[]
Step 1[]
Once acquiring the Fallen Hand of Hemera, the player will need to locate three small circular mirrors across the map. The first one being on the outsides of the Temple of Apollo below a blue banner, another one being at the Upper Road, attached to a bridge outside the map, and the last one being at the Temple Terrace attached to a pillar. When the player finds these mirrors, they will need to shoot at them to turn the mirrors until they are fully upright. Once the player does so they can shoot at the mirrors with the Fallen Hand to bounce an orb of light into a bowl. The bowls will be in the same area as the mirrors, except for the Temple of Apollo mirror, which lands in a bowl that is near the stairs in the Gymnasium Bathhouse. With the orb of light in the bowls, the player must melee with the Fallen Hand to pick up it. The player must get this orb of light to the Shrine of Hemera before it fades. When getting there the player must melee again to put the orb inside one of the three bowls in the Shrine. If the light fades before making it to the Shrine, the player just needs to shoot at the mirror to grab another orb of light.
Step 2[]
Once all three orbs of light are in the bowls in the Shrine of Hemera, a portal will open for the player to enter. Once they do, they will be teleported to a small arena. Here the player will be given the Redeemed Hand of Hemera and unlimited ammo. The player will need to survive for a certain amount of time before being teleported back. Once they do they will now have the Redeemed Hand of Hemera.
Exalted Hand[]
To start obtaining the Exalted Hand of Hemera, make sure to first have the Redeemed Hand of Gaia, Redeemed Hand of Charon, and Redeemed Hand of Ouranos.
Step 1[]
The player will need to light the Eternal Flame by completing Trials and claiming an Epic and Legendary reward.
With the Eternal Flame lit up, the player must pull out Apollo’s Will and melee the Eternal Flame to make the spear catch on fire. Going outside to the left of the Eternal Flame and looking up the player will see a large bowl on top of a pillar. They will need to aim slightly above the top of the bowl and throw the spear to light the bowl on fire.
Step 2[]
The player needs to kill a specific Catalyst Zombie in the circle at each Shrine. The kills are as follows:
- Kill a Fire Catalyst at the Shrine of Gaia
- Kill an Electric Catalyst at the Shrine of Hemera
- Kill a Poison Catalyst at the Shrine of Charon
- Kill a Water Catalyst at the Shrine of Ouranos
Once the playr has killed a catalyst at a Shrine, they will need to get zombie kills near that Shrine to collect souls. The player will need about 10 and they’ll know when they are done once souls stop going into the Shrine.
Step 3[]
The final step is to take one of the Hands and go interact with Pack-A-Punch to initiate the Primordial God’s Challenges. Unlike upgrading to the Redeemed Hand, the player doesn’t have unlimited ammo, but can use their full arsenal. There are four challenges the player must complete, but they will be teleported back to the map after completing each one. The Challenges are as follows:
- Challenge of Gaia:
- Kill a whole bunch of Catalyst Zombies
- Challenge of Ouranos:
- Kill a whole bunch of skeletons
- Challenge of Hemera:
- Kill three Genenees’
- Challenge of Charon:
- Kill three Blightfathers
After completing the Challenge of Charon, the player will then be able to Pack-A-Punch any Hand, bringing it to its Exalted form, and increasing ammo as well as damage.
