The Handley Page Halifax is a four-engined bomber of the Royal Air Force during World War II. It has only appeared in Call of Duty 3.
Call of Duty 3Edit
- "Four-engined heavy bomber used by the British Royal Air Force during WWII in a variety of roles"
- — Call of Duty 3 description.
It is first seen being loaded by Wilkins on the Dorset airfield in the cutscene for "Night Drop." The Halifax is later shot down over occupied France by FlaK 88 anti-aircraft guns. The Special Air Service unit parachute out along with Vera and Lynn - the unit's jeeps.
- The exact variant featured ingame is the Handley Page Halifax V, as named by the bonus materials section. This variant was internally equipped to carry paratroopers.
